Ivan's Newsletter
August 9, 2007 -- Issue 033
===============================================

Hi,

This issue includes...

* Trans fats to be replaced by something
possibly even worse

* Is charred meat really carcinogenic?

* Q & A: I'm interested in bodybuilding, but I
really don't know where to start...

===============================================

As you might have noticed I didn't send out
the last issue of my newsletter.

Wanna know why?

I'll tell you.

You know, I have been writing this newsletter
for a while now, and I'd always send it out on
the 1st and the 15th of each month.

Lately I've been feeling like this is becoming
more of a chore than a pleasure. And I'm at the
point in my life where I, whenever I can, try to
do things because I like doing them.

So, I made a decision. I'm changing things
around a bit... but more about this in about
a week.

MAKE SURE you don't miss my email around next
Wednesday (the 15th). It's going to be
important!

Ok. Enough with this. Let's go on with this
issue...

Trans fats to be replaced by something possibly
even worse
===============================================

"Isn't that something", you say.

As we are just becoming aware of the true harming
effects of hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated

compared to trans fats...

Is charred meat really carcinogenic?
===============================================

I am not going to uncover a great secret if I say
that athletes (bodybuilders even more) rely more
on meat to cover their high needs for proteins.

And it’s not a great secret that the most delicious
way to cook steak or chicken, or even fish is to
grill them.

But then the issue about carcinogens arises...

Q & A: I'm interested in bodybuilding, but I
really don't know where to start...
===============================================

Q: "Hi Cliff,

I am very interested in bodybuilding at the
moment but really don't know where to start.
I have tried going to the gym before, and taking
different types of supplements - mostly proteins,
but i never really saw any gains, so i just quit
for a while.

Right now I am trying to gather as much
information as I can, but there is so
much out there that I'm confused. My main goal
is to get bigger, but I would really like to get
more cut than huge.

I look pretty skinny, but have trouble with my
chest and stubborn belly fat. I believe its
called the skinny fat syndrome or something like
that...
