1) What Fruit Is The Highest in Vitamin C
===============================================
I often get this question and I knew what fruits contain
a lot of Vitamin C but I didn’t know which of them is
the highest in this valuable vitamin.
So, decided to dig deep into the USDA database.
I wanted to find the fruit that is the highest in vitamin C,
but that’s not as big as my head. With other words
a fruit that I could eat in one sitting without feeling full,
a fruit that I can eat as a desert.
And you might be surprised
(like I was)
to find out which one it is. The interesting thing is
when we go shopping this fruit is always there in the
fruit section, neglected kind of. At least I haven’t
seen
too many people look at it not to mention buy it.
This little fruit is… kiwifruit!
One fruit contains almost
twice the RDA recommended daily intake for
Vitamin C (60mg).
I’m sure you know that the RDA
recommendation
(60mg a day) is far not enough for optimal health.
Based on the numerous studies I’d be safe to say
that you will need at least 3 1/2 times that amount.
I’m sure you will guess what’s
the fruit I put
immediately behind the kiwifruit. It’s the orange -
the good old orange fruit that your grandma
used to tell you it’s good for you. Just 3 of them
will provide enough for your tissues to be
saturated with Vitamin C.
I see more people looking at the oranges section
in the grocery store, and some even buy.
I don’t know, though, what they do with it at home.
I hope they eat it…
But any way, the moral of the story
is… eat your fruits
(and vegetables). Among other valuable substances
and nutrients they are rich in vitamins. Many of them
contain a fair amount of Vitamin C and some of them
are really high on that essential vitamin.

2) What's New About IvanNikolov.com
===============================================
There is a lot new about my web site. In a few words
last moth I spent a substantial amount of time to make it
a lot more interesting and more content rich (I am sure
you will agree that I’m getting there) .
This web site is my “jewel” and I intend it to look like one.
The most distinguishing features that I added are:
- * Bodybuilding Exercises – a
database where you can
find exercises for every major muscle group and
execution explanation for each of them
(photos coming soon)
- * Training Routines – here
you can find full body workout
routines for novice, intermediate and advanced athletes
- * Ivan’s Choices – in
this section you will find everything
that I personally take, use or endorse.
Only the supplements are covered for now but soon
I plan on covering things like healthy macronutrients,
tools for measurements and fat assessment, etc.
- * Not Recommended – this will
be the place where
I will be posting everything I would NOT recommend
you use. Be it a supplement, a fitness machine
for home use, a particular food or anything that has
a misleading advertisement. Everything that does NOT
do what they promise or does NOT contain what they
claim on the label, or it’s harsh on the body
and it shouldn’t be taken
- * Fat Loss Info – a page where
you will find articles
and info particularly on fat loss. I know that topic is of
special interest and that’s why I created that section
And much more..
